Create a Fast, Free Website with Wix

Your home business needs a website – fast and cheap.  Here is a great idea –  For testing purposes, I built and published a test website within 20 minutes.  Wix provided a one page site for free and muti-page sites are available too with Home, Bio, News & Events, Books, and Contact pages.   If using the free version, you will have to accept minor advertising, a horizontal banner ad at the bottom of the page.

After completing the editing, click on publish and answer a few basic questions to complete the SEO process for search engines.  The test web page I created is .  Click on that link and it will take you to:

The Wix interface is basically drag and drop, click, edit, cut and paste.  These functions are intuitive and similar to many applications in Microsoft Windows.  Web designers can customize as much as needed, adding different backgrounds, color palette changes, font size and more.

Wix has very few limits.  The basic version will link to other sites to purchase a product, but no secure shopping cart service.  As a starting point for home business, Wix is a great choice for marketing and exposure.  In the future, you can always upgrade to a different website hosting company or purchase a premium version of Wix.

Wix makes website creation so simple that virtually anyone can create a home business site or personal site.  It is free, easy and another way to save money when starting up a home business.

If the advertising is annoying, a premium version can be purchased from Wix that does not have ads.
