My totals from Smashwords (iBooks, Barnes and Noble, etc.) and Kindle was $124.02. Not bad considering most of my eBooks are priced at $2.99 or less.
Today’s total from Google: $88.11 and brings my total eBook earning for 2015 to $212.13.
Not a living wage, certainly, but an extra couple hundred dollars is worth writing the eBooks, especially because I like to write. For me, writing is therapy of sorts and gives me a chance to expand on my creative nature.
The amounts are not the same for a few reasons. Pricing is different in certain situations and none of the eBook retailers has exactly the same inventory as another.
The best part about this? All of this was done from home – either on my bed, sofa, kitchen table or in the backyard. Can’t beat that for a work at home job! Try it – you may meet with unexpected success. You probably won’t be the next J.K. Rowling or James Patterson, but you can augment your income and enjoy doing it.
Once again – if I can – so can you.
