If you’re an author or an independent publisher, check out our new Send to Readmill widget, which makes it easy to get your prose into your readers’ iPads and iPhones. Readmill is an ebook reader that not only offers a clean, elegant reading experience, it allows you to highlight and share passages with others and discover new books to read.
I promised a while back to give an update of eBooks sold on SmashWords and Kindle. I now have 3 published books on Kindle and 2 on SmashWords. I’ve sold close to 20 on Kindle alone. Most are about the Sandy Hook school tragedy and at $.99, I plan to donate proceeds to Sandy Hook funds.
This post covers publishing on Kindle, step-by-step. Between SmashWords and Kindle, a large portion of the digital publishing market is available.to you, the writer. Both services are free, so why not take a chance? You can always publish under a pseudonym to avoid potential complications or issues.
