The Facebook page was very easy to create, perhaps 30 minutes worth of work, and one does not need special technical skills either. Facebook’s pages are set up for the novice to use; no programming is necessary. If you are in the market to sell a product, I strongly encourage using Facebook as a marketing tool. What is lost? A little time and a slight learning curve. It won’t cost anything – at least not now – and a skill set may be added to your resume. In addition, you may just gain some sales and needed income!
