I am the founder of Homepreneurs. My name is unimportant for this article. I am a long-term IT, project manager and cybersecurity guy. I know technology and keep up with developments.
The reason I decided to relaunch Homepreneurs was because of future concerns that threaten all of us: Artificial Intelligence or AI. I happened to be part of recent discussions with people who are really “in the know”. The message was loud and clear. AI may completely overturn life as we know it within a few to several years, not decades.
AI is noted in ChatGPT or OpenAI or DeepSeek (China) and is advancing at rapid rates and this growth is exponential, not simply doubling or tripling. It is to the point where AI is training other AI models to be better. I’ve been involved with some of those conversations, too.
Y0u’ve probably spoken to a customer service rep who is actually an AI model, not a human. AI has learned enough to be able to interact and hold debates with humans. I’ve done that on several occasions, testing real vs AI; there is little difference.

She doesn’t exist. I had AI create her in 10 seconds.
She could be used for dating profiles.
She will even have a conversation with me, if I prompt her to talk.
AI is not just coming. It is here.
And no government is doing anything to regulate or hold back development, either. Industry isn’t either. I’ve been in those conversations too.
Back to Homepreneurs. I decided to launch this – a little prematurely – because we face a real threat to our jobs. I’ll keep building this website out as a community platform. I have no intention to charge for anything. Just be patient and I’ll add content regularly and I hope you will get involved as well. This website, Facebook, Instagram are for all our use.
Maybe I’m wrong, but signs exist with big warning flags.
